Brand creation - changing the way people shop
Ethical food company hiSbe (‘How It Should Be’) wanted a people-centred design agency to develop a brand that would become a ‘hub’ for healthy and affordable food. The hiSbe brand needed to convey their brand essence; a way of shopping that’s better for the planet and for the people and animals we share it with.
hiSbe’s mission is to help people change the way they shop for food. So our design team explored brand concepts to educate consumers in a fun way, remove confusion about the food they were buying and ‘mainstream’ sustainable food.
Together we chose a concept which used arrows pointing to products, such as local or planet-friendly items. In this way, the logo acted as a seal of approval for ‘how it should be’.
hiSbe's brand name and strap line is contained within the arrow graphic which allows it to be easily placed over images or on packaging and signage. Brand specialists within our design agency also developed a rough hand drawn style to give the brand a friendly and organic feel.
Overall, the hiSbe brand lends itself well to a range of strategic marketing tactics, as the campaign continues to roll out and support the growth of the business.
